Sernova
Sernova Vodka is a bottle and label design for a distilled spirit. The vodka is produced with a filtration process that uses black diamonds. The bottle form takes its inspiration from the light reflections of black diamonds. The bottle is made of glass and holds 700 millilitres. The height of the bottle is 290 millimetres. The label uses a self adhesive crystal substrate, so the printing appears to sit directly on the glass surface. The design gives the brand a distinct shape in a market with many known vodka bottles.
Sernova Packaging and Graphic by Guillermo Dufranc was highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Sernova Packaging and Graphic was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
