Smart Agriculture
Smart Agriculture is an agricultural demonstration park planned for a rural site in Pizhou, China. The park is positioned as a smart countryside and future field, with intelligence applied across the agricultural chain. Four core buildings recall seeds, the walkways suggest sprouting vines and the flower beds suggest new leaves. 5G technology, big data and machine technology support intelligent planting and processing. Digitization, prefabrication and 3D printing guide design and construction. Functions include an agricultural museum, a cultural exchange center and a smart farm.
Smart Agriculture Demonstration Park by HOS has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Smart Agriculture Demonstration Park was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Urban Planning and Urban Design in 2022. The A' City Planning and Urban Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors excellent design of masterplans, zoning proposals, infrastructure designs, landscape blueprints, public space concepts, urban renewal projects, transit oriented developments, sustainable city designs and more.
