Lijiang Taohuayuan
Lijiang Taohuayuan is a residential complex in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, China. The site lies on the bank of Wenbi Sea, close to Wenbi Mountain. The buildings rise gradually from the lake in the west towards the east, so that more homes gain a view of the water. The plan includes two-story compounds, four-story courtyards, duplexes, eight-story condominiums and a town center with commercial services. The facades apply local Naxi elements, such as wooden lattice windows, with modern methods. Gardens are placed around single buildings to bring the landscape indoors.
