Impression of the Sunset by the Sea

This is a new library for an old community. In order to provide the community with a center where people can meet and read and unite the people of the community to work together for a new life, this library will become a new symbol of the community. The concept and impression of the design comes from the sunset over the sea. The sunlight outside during the daytime shines through the orange tinted glass and brings a romantic feeling to the whole space under the curved structure.

Impression of the Sunset by the Sea Library by FENG I-MING has been selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Impression of the Sunset by the Sea Library was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
