Saxe Blue
Saxe Blue is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in October 2021. The home covers about 396 square meters and was planned around ventilation, orientation and natural light. Saxe blue with a touch of gray forms the main color scheme, and the shaped ceiling recalls the branches of the Elbe River. Transparent reeded glass screens the kitchen, while electric blinds adjust light and privacy. Healthy materials were chosen for a client with a nasal allergy, including green building laminated veneer lumber and eco-friendly latex paint.
Saxe Blue Residential by YuYen Interior Design has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Saxe Blue Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
