Germgo
Germgo is an intelligent disinfection robot designed for public places. Two screens are included, one for planning the cleaning route and one for showing the operating status. Three nozzles spray disinfectant over a wide area, and a large water tank supports long periods of use. A projection device on the base casts the planned direction of travel onto the floor, so pedestrians can step aside in advance and collisions are avoided. The shell is made of PC and ABS by injection molding, and the disinfection module uses corrosion-resistant PA.
Germgo Disinfection Robot by Aodong Li was highlighted as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Awards. Germgo Disinfection Robot won the Iron A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design in 2022. The A' Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors outstanding design of industrial robots, medical robots, agricultural robots, domestic robots, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, telepresence robots, underwater robots and more.
