Aenaon
Aenaon is a cosmetic box designed so that light passes through the packaging and the product inside. The box is made of Rives Sensation Mat paper of 370 grams with FSC certification. The exterior is printed in black in an abstract monochrome pattern and embossed on all sides. Cut openings create transparency and clarity. Inside, composite paper bases form a set of shapes that hold the product in place. Each box is assembled by hand, with close attention to the inner bases. Two sizes were produced, and the paper can be recycled after opening.
Aenaon Cosmetic Box by Spiros Gizas was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Aenaon Cosmetic Box won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
