Yukidoke Mitsu
Yukidoke Mitsu is a gift package for brand-name strawberries grown in Mizukami Village, Kumamoto Prefecture. The strawberries have a high sugar content and are harvested when the snow melts in the high altitude village, where the headstream of the Kuma River is found. The design covers a pasted paper box with textured white paper that suggests falling snow. A strawberry motif is applied in red foil stamping. The box measures 242 by 160 by 57 millimetres and has a lid on top. The solid box gives a sense of luxury suited to gift giving.
Yukidoke Mitsu Fruits Package by SHINGO FURUSHO was recognized as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yukidoke Mitsu Fruits Package earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which celebrates exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
