Living in the Clouds
Living in the Clouds is a penthouse apartment interior located on level 32 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 300 square meter home is often surrounded by fog, and the design draws on this setting through rich earth tones that create a calm and stable atmosphere. Stone, wood and metal are combined to add depth and natural texture. Warm grey furniture and lighting fixtures give a contemporary look. The public area joins the living room, island kitchen and dining area, while three bedrooms with large windows face the city.
Living in the Clouds Residential Apartment by Kirstin Fu-Ying Wang was identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Living in the Clouds Residential Apartment earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
