Insecta Iridesse
Insecta Iridesse is a print sales catalogue created to present metallic printing effects. The catalogue replaces the standard colour swatch with a fictional explorer's journal that documents imaginary rare insect species. Thirty gem-like jewellery pieces, including bracelets, necklaces, hairpieces, earrings and brooches, are made almost entirely of paper and printed with speciality gold, silver and white inks. The folio holds folded maps, tickets, newspaper clippings and certificates on coated and uncoated paper stock. Viewers are invited to inspect each print effect closely.
Insecta Iridesse Print Sales Catalogue by Plus Collaboratives has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Insecta Iridesse Print Sales Catalogue was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design in 2022. The A' Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes exceptional design of advertisement campaigns, billboards, commercials, print ads, social media campaigns, direct mails, radio spots, email marketing, outdoor advertising and more.
