Luna
Luna is an ultrasound device designed for use in both large hospitals and small clinics. The full-touch control panel can be adapted for up to five different users by changing the size and position of the buttons. An internal metal structure makes the device strong and allows the hardware to be upgraded without replacing the whole system. Each part can be maintained separately. The transducer holders can be repositioned according to how often each transducer is used, and the silicone cups are easy to clean. The arm can be adjusted in height.
Luna Ultrasound Device by Mohammadsina Gavili has been identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Luna Ultrasound Device won the Silver A' Design Award in Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design in 2022. The A' Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates excellent design of stethoscopes, wheelchairs, defibrillators, MRI machines, surgical instruments, prosthetics, ultrasound devices, pacemakers and more.
