MontGras Handcrafted
MontGras Handcrafted is a wine label series created for five Chilean wines made from rare grape varieties harvested in 2020. Each label merges two pieces of art, the signature of the winemaker and a different typographic treatment of the vintage number, while a shared graphic line unites the five designs. The labels are printed on self-adhesive, uncoated, water-resistant paper that resists aging and ultraviolet light. Gold foil, die cutting, silkscreen varnish with relief and a matte protective varnish complete the finish. A wax capsule seals each bottle.
MontGras Handcrafted Wine Packaging by Ximena Ureta has been identified as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. MontGras Handcrafted Wine Packaging won the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
