Popsitable Table

Popsitable

Popsitable is a table inspired by the shape of popsicle sticks. The table measures 2100 mm in width, 900 mm in depth and 720 mm in height. Rounded corners and straight lines shape each part, and the legs recall the wide end of a popsicle stick. An n-shaped support and a jointed structure under the top give the table stability. The table is made of carbonized bamboo wood, a material produced from raw bamboo that is crushed into threads, treated at high temperature and pressure, then bonded and hot pressed. Bamboo offers a low-carbon alternative to timber.

Popsitable Table by Daniel Huang was highlighted as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Popsitable Table won the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
