Garalis Muscat Limnio
Garalis Muscat Limnio is a wine packaging design created for two wines from the Greek island of Lemnos. Both labels share one illustration style, showing that the two wines belong to the same family. The Muscat white wine label shows low vines bent by strong northeasterly winds. The Limnio red wine label is based on the shape of the traditional Gouves, underground carved rocks once used for the fermentation of must. The labels are printed on textured eco paper with black offset, gold hot foil and gloss embossing.
Garalis Muscat Limnio Wine Packaging by Manos Siganos was selected as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Garalis Muscat Limnio Wine Packaging won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
