040 Semi Detached is the interior design of a model house in Zhengzhou, China. The 494.3 square meter home combines a modern approach with western classical aesthetics. Grey and white are the dominant hues, giving the rooms a calm and stylish character. Simplified lines add depth to the space and reduce the heaviness of classical detailing. Marble, brass, wood flooring and wood veneer form the material palette. An open layout maximizes daylight and creates smooth circulation. The master bedroom is linked to a study, a walk-in closet and separate wet and dry bathrooms.
