Restrained Hidden
Restrained Hidden is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan. The plan covers an indoor area of 46 ping, including an entryway, living room, reading area, dining room and kitchen, along with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study. Grey, black and white form the base palette. Light blue cabinets, matte marble stones, mirrors and glass add a quiet sense of luxury. Hexagonal bricks, wooden flooring and wide planks are combined for the floors. Indirect lighting and daylight outline depth, while a consistent ceiling height softens the structural beams.
Restrained Hidden Residential by Ching-Lin Yu has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Restrained Hidden Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
