Gentle Grey
Gentle Grey is a residential interior design for a 125-square-meter apartment with four rooms and a living room. The layout is open, and lines, planes and materials are combined to connect the horizontal and vertical space. The public area features a Grigio Carnico marble television wall, while the dining room has a light stone countertop. Special paint, water-stained wood veneer and metal details complete the neutral grayscale scheme. The living room and work area share a large window, and an L-shaped sofa is linked to a desk.
Gentle Grey Residential by Yu-Wen Wang has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Gentle Grey Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
