Epic Fail
Inspired by the political events that shook 2016, this series observes the dissonance between our perception and reality in the age of social media and catered news feeds. The aim was to question how our materiality can be warped by our opinions and judgements, using the existential currents of Jean Paul Sartre’s "Nausea".
Epic Fail Photographic Series by Greg Barth was recognized as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Epic Fail Photographic Series received the Silver A' Design Award in Photography and Photo Manipulation Design in 2021. The A' Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards superior design of portraits, landscapes, still lifes, photojournalism, fashion shots, architectural images, wildlife captures, sports events and more.
