Dim Light
Dim Light is a residential interior design for a home of 330 square meters in Taiwan. Traditional cabinet and layout arrangements are discarded, and the spatial areas are connected through varied elements and materials. A large area of marble forms the main visual focus indoors. A curved ceiling cornice above the public space creates an elegant ambience. Titanium-plated panels, stone and KD veneer panels are layered to set the color of each surface. A hidden door panel allows the study and the dining room to remain independent or be joined.
Dim Light Residential Space by Wen-Ching Wu has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dim Light Residential Space won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
