Welfare is Gold

Welfare Is Gold is a harassment prevention strategy created for a large mining group in Mexico. The strategy combines Welfare Commissions in each unit, an attention protocol, an intensive communication program and a web application that generates a personalized protocol for each contractor company. Printed and digital materials include infographics, posters, short animated videos, cartoons and memes. The protocol was co-designed with local employees and validated by the mining units. The intent is a workplace culture free of harassment.

Welfare is Gold Harassment Prevention Strategy by Tekio was identified as a grand representation of service design by the A' Design Awards. Welfare is Gold Harassment Prevention Strategy was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Meta, Strategic and Service Design in 2021. The A' Meta, Strategic and Service Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which celebrates exceptional design of design strategy, design management, service design, franchising design, strategic design, service blueprints, prototypes, touchpoints and more.
