Hill House
Hill House is a residential building with two low-energy housing units. The design follows the morphology and topography of the site and forms part of a project for the re-naturalisation of the green area. A cantilevered structure and slender metal pilotis allow the units to rest on the ground at different heights. The two units share service areas on the ground floor and offer different ways of living. The dry construction uses natural and recyclable materials, including exposed coloured concrete, larch wood and pre-oxidised zinc-titanium sheet.
Hill House Private Residence by Edoardo Milesi was highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Hill House Private Residence was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
