Hunger Games
Hunger Games is an art installation about excessive consumption, food waste, hunger and thirst. The work is composed of porcelain plates, glasses and metal cutlery from various countries, suspended from the ceiling so that the pieces appear to fly. Forms of spaghetti, vegetables and fruit, made of blown transparent glass, are placed inside the porcelain and the cutlery. Giant metal cutlery sculptures stand at the focal point of the arrangement. About 250 separate pieces were drilled and hung one by one with fishing line.
Hunger Games Installation by Derya Geylani Vuruşan has been recognized as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award.
