The Pilgrimage
Lang Song minor seminary, where preserves the history of forming the Vietnamese national script, with outstanding architecture and landscape on rice fields are the inspiration for a community based tourism development. The idea of preserving and promoting heritage value in a new age is expressed through urban planning and design around a square, recreating the connection with the river. Pilgrimage to Lang Song is a journey to find the origin of modern script. By the functional spaces and light, the design aims to give visitors a sense of sacred land converging the cultural essence of the area.
The Pilgrimage CBT Development by Scene Plus has been highlighted as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Pilgrimage CBT Development was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design in 2021. The A' Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that rewards outstanding design of cultural heritage projects, cultural conversation, preservation, restoration and protection projects, heritage architecture and more.
