Acesite Park
Acesite Park is a landscape design for a residential and municipal park area in Shenzhen. The park applies a sponge city approach, with sunken green belts, rain gardens and grassed swales that slow and collect rainwater. Paving uses silica sand and ceramic permeable bricks, which allow water to pass through and reduce noise. Vegetation and a filter layer purify the collected rainwater for waterfalls, mist systems, irrigation and road washing. The sponge facilities store 2547.84 cubic meters of water. The terraced field layout creates slopes and depressions that guide slow drainage.
Acesite Park Landscape by Logan Group has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Acesite Park Landscape received the Silver A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2021. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
