Avalanche
Avalanche is a translucent engineered quartz surface made for kitchens, bathrooms and wall and floor coverings. The appearance of Avalanche is based on natural onyx stone, with long veins running through each slab. The surface transmits light, so a light source placed underneath turns the panel into an illuminated element. Avalanche is produced from recycled crystal quartz, glass and resin, pressed under vacuum and polished with diamond abrasives. The material is non-porous, scratch resistant and suitable for food contact.
Avalanche Surfacing Solution by Esra Arıcı has been selected as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Avalanche Surfacing Solution received the Iron A' Design Award in Manufacturing and Processing Machinery Design in 2021. The A' Manufacturing and Processing Machinery Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards superior design of conveyors, robotics, injection molds, 3D printers, CNC machines, packaging systems, quality control equipment, assembly lines and more.
