BonBonne Nuit
BonBonne Nuit is a packaging design series for candy. The name combines two French words, bon bon, meaning candy, and bonne nuit, meaning good night. The concept invites customers to taste their own lucid dreams. The packages use a montage style that brings together surrealistic elements. Because lucid dreams are controllable, the story on each package suggests a desire that people are likely to have. The conceptual product names are intended to trigger imaginative scenes in the mind. The series includes three pouches, three mini round boxes and two rectangular handle boxes.
BonBonne Nuit Candy Packaging by Ka Wai Tsun has been selected as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. BonBonne Nuit Candy Packaging won the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that rewards exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
