Quiet World
Quiet World is a sales center located in the core area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, close to a wetland park. The interior covers 1037 square meters. The design combines futuristic and natural elements to suggest a park-like community within the city. The concept of the net was drawn from the root systems of plants and of the Internet. A wooden structure forms a net-like ceiling that recalls a rain forest and changes the light and shadow at every step. Pure wood and white are the main colors, and a marble wall and a large art installation complete the calm space.
Quiet World Sales Center by 熊比尔 was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Quiet World Sales Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
