The Kungfu Froggy
The Kungfu Froggy is a restaurant interior covering 300 square meters. The design is based on the concept of a traditional garden. Bamboo and stone are combined with modern materials such as glass, terrazzo and chrome-plated stainless steel. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panels divide the space, and metal elements are placed between them. Partitions near the entrance have a glossy surface with a texture that recalls fish scales. A frog form marks the entrance and supports the brand image. Smooth circulation lines link the dining areas and serve different dining needs.
The Kungfu Froggy Restaurant by Xiaoguo Rui was identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Kungfu Froggy Restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
