Beyond Oriental
Beyond Oriental is a residential interior design project covering 365 square meters. The design combines Chinese and Japanese elements with clean modern lines. A Japanese-style tea house is placed near the entrance and welcomes family members and guests. In the entrance foyer, a dark brown bronze sculpture stands before a black and gold wall. An arc-shaped bar is made of tea mirrors with a polygonal cut. Materials include stainless steel, marble, thin rock slabs, woodwork, titanium-plated metal and mirror. Seven suites with bathrooms give each family member privacy.
Beyond Oriental Residence by Athens Space Design was recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Beyond Oriental Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
