Layer Immersion
Layer Immersion is a residential interior design of about 71 square meters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The layout includes an entrance, a living room, a dining room, a changing room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open plan connects the rooms and creates a fluid visual field. The main television wall combines a stainless steel panel with glass and is joined to a large dining table, forming the center of the long and narrow space. Low chroma gray tones form the background, while wood and warm light add a calm and simple atmosphere.
Layer Immersion Residential House by CHIU CHIEN-WEI was selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Layer Immersion Residential House received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
