Dandelion Seed
Dandelion Seed is a speaker with an integrated light. The design is based on respect for plants as living beings. The form refers to three stages of a dandelion life: seed, growing and death. A hollow glass ball is made by glass blowing and holds batteries and LED lights. Magnetic field technology gives the ball a sense of levitating above the base. Sound is spread in 360 degrees, and a device can be connected by Bluetooth. The music played by the speaker is presented as a symbol of the silent sound of the plant. The soft light is intended to help people relax.
Dandelion Seed Speaker Light by Mohammad Mahdi Najafi has been selected as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
