Greenland Intercity Space Station
Greenland Intercity Space Station is an office interior located in Nanjing, China. The design covers an area of 5000 square meters and replaces the traditional standardized layout with an open and collaborative plan. The independent work areas are shaped as boxes stacked at different scales. Large light colored stone surfaces add a sense of depth. The lobby is high and spacious, and the floors have no clear boundaries. Staircases pass through the building structure and link the public areas, while stepped wooden stairs offer extra seating for meetings, lectures and events.
Greenland Intercity Space Station Office by Yue Ding was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Greenland Intercity Space Station Office won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
