Light
Light is a residential interior design for a home of 2,135 square feet in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. The layout has five rooms, including a master bedroom, two children's rooms and private work areas for the parents. The sofa is placed to face the large windows, so the green outdoor scenery stays visible indoors. Transparent glass above the kitchen island keeps the interior bright and open. Light-colored wood veneer cabinets along the entrance hallway provide ample storage. Materials include wood veneer, stone, leather and titanium-plated metal.
Light Residential Interior Design by YANG WEN WEI was identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Light Residential Interior Design won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
