Qwork Pod
Qwork Pod is a hexagonal office pod designed to protect workers from viral infection. The honeycomb-like unit can be grouped to suit different spatial needs and office layouts. Each pod measures 250 cm in width, 220 cm in length and 250 cm in height. A handle-less airtight acrylic door opens automatically through facial recognition, and ventilation fans with built-in air filters start at the same time. The body is made of a non-porous acrylic and aluminium hydroxide composite with an antiviral coating for easy hygiene.
Qwork Pod Office Furniture by Mohamed Mostafa Radwan has been featured as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Qwork Pod Office Furniture received the Bronze A' Design Award in Office Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Office Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors exceptional design of desks, chairs, file cabinets, conference tables, cubicles, workstations, reception counters, office partitions and more.
