Bathing Summer Day
Bathing Summer Day is a residential interior design of 165 square meters, completed in 2020 for a family of five. The spacious living room and the semi open study with an aluminum framed glass partition are joined to keep the view wide and bright. A gray mirror widens the narrow entrance corridor, and the storage is integrated with the television wall. A long island connects to a solid wood dining table used for meals and for homework. In the master bedroom, a sliding door hides the dressing mirror, so the wardrobe wall stays calm and complete.
Bathing Summer Day Residential House by Chung Yi Chun was selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bathing Summer Day Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
