Vanke Metropolis Seasons
Vanke is a sales center covering 1600 square meters. The building responds to a site shaped by a canal, a wetland park and nearby elevated roads. Modern door frames are stacked in layers, and their sequence is adjusted by mathematical parameters to create a gradual transition. The frames extend inside and are reshaped into an arc-like lobby, which is completed by hanging acrylic panels and public installations. Brushed copper-like stainless steel, dual-layered insulating Low-E glass and golden limestone form the main interface. A garden with a swirl-shaped layout closes the route.
Vanke Metropolis Seasons Sales Center by Feng Yang has been featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Vanke Metropolis Seasons Sales Center received the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which rewards excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
