LiNing 8th Gen
LiNing 8th Gen is a flagship store for a sports brand, covering 2049 square meters. The design draws on running tracks and basketball courts. The entrance displays running products under color changing light belts that shine in rhythm. An LED screen at the center recalls the screens above basketball courts and frames the basketball display. Interior surfaces use simple cement, while shelves are made of metal and stainless steel with a carbon fiber texture finish. The shelves can be taken apart and recycled to reduce waste. Goods are grouped in clear themed areas.
LiNing 8th Gen Flagship Store by Yingtao Xu was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. LiNing 8th Gen Flagship Store was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
