Soleil Levant
Soleil Levant is a villa interior design with an area of 820 square meters. The project transforms an old building into a spacious modern home that blends traditional Chinese houses with western modernist aesthetics. Light and color form the main theme. Ocean blue is the leading color, balanced by warm orange and by neutral tones such as camel, ivory, black and carbon gray. Stone, fabric and metal are used in the open and symmetrical living space. A courtyard, a terrace and large French windows link the interior with the outdoor greenery and the lake view.
Soleil Levant Villa by Jianchao Liu was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Soleil Levant Villa won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
