3 Mobile Lifestyle Store is a retail interior design for a mobile network brand in Hong Kong. The store covers 150 square metres. Contrasting black and white stripes run across every corner of the space. Wide diagonal lines shape the linear light bar and the floor pattern. Wooden finishes add a sense of harmony and simplicity. The customer service area uses noise absorbing fabric partitions inspired by first class aircraft seating. An enclosed workshop with operable glass partitions hosts tutorials and can open to the sales area for events.
3 Mobile Lifestyle Store Shop by Yan Yik Lun was recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. 3 Mobile Lifestyle Store Shop won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
