Buddy
Buddy is a table light designed for focused work. The rounded body is topped with an adjustable head that can be tilted down to light a task or angled up to provide ambient light. Brightness is controlled by a dimmer switch on the cord. Buddy is made with fused deposition modeling 3D printing, using a plant based polymer derived from sugar crops. Each light is produced in California and hand finished with water based marine paints. The compact form suits an office, a study, a bedside table or a living room.
Buddy Table Light by Mona Sharma has been identified as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Buddy Table Light was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
