Tribute to Sensibility
Tribute to Sensibility is a residential interior design of 210 square meters located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The living room, the kitchen and the dining area are kept open and connected, following the Danish idea of Hygge, which values comfort and conviviality. The cooking area faces the dining area, linking the kitchen with the shared space. Natural materials, balanced light and shade, and visual symmetry create a calm atmosphere. A wine cellar stands next to the dining table. Environmentally friendly wood panels and paint with low formaldehyde content were used.
Tribute to Sensibility Residence by Han Lin Nelson Song has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tribute to Sensibility Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
