The Loft
The Loft is a residential apartment interior located in Singapore. The apartment measures 52 square meters and has a ceiling height of 4 meters. The wall between the two bedrooms was removed so the space feels wider and more open. Space planning follows a vertical approach, and the sleeping area is placed on a loft above. The loft is cantilevered with a hollow section, so no columns appear at the wardrobe. A glass panel divides the living and sleeping areas and limits sound from the television.
The Loft Residential Apartment by Elpis Interior Design Pte Ltd has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Loft Residential Apartment earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
