Truffle Forest
Truffle Forest is a residential interior design for a private home. The layout breaks the conventional three-bedroom plan and links indoor and outdoor areas to enlarge the space. Titanium-plated metal screens, silver-grey marble, wood veneer and electrified glass form light partitions that can be made clear or private. The balcony combines stainless steel raised flooring, marble and teak wood with a water curtain, a bar and planting. A smart home system controls lighting, air conditioning, curtains and the water curtain.
Truffle Forest Residential by Tai Chen was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Truffle Forest Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
