Laidback Glam
Bodacious Auroradwelling is the interior design of a two-storey corner terrace house of 3,642 square feet. The design follows a Japanese Kokoro living concept, with wood, stone and water as the main themes. The floor plan supports a smooth flow of movement from the main door to all areas of the home. Walnut wood, marble and a palette of black, beige, white and grey are repeated throughout the interior. Abstract art and statues are used as decoration. The sleek facade is paired with a landscaped garden, a patio and a water pond.
Laidback Glam Residential House by SURFACE R was identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Laidback Glam Residential House received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
