Less Is More
Less Is More is a sales center located in the center of Wenling City. The interior covers 380 square meters and is arranged on two floors that remain independent yet support each other. Simplicity guides the design, and geometric art installations replace complex decorative elements. Wide blank surfaces let light define the space. The reception area is placed to one side, so visitors first see the large sand table. A minimalist marble counter and background wall, green plants and hanging art installations complete the interior.
Less Is More Sales Center by Song Yang was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Less Is More Sales Center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
