Stoccolma
Stoccolma is a flexible wall lamp designed to move light where it is needed. The lamp is formed by two cables held in tension between four anchor points. Each cable combines a brass wire, which gives structure and carries current, with an elastic wire that allows sliding. A circular brass disc holding an LED runs along the cables and can be turned by hand through 360 degrees. Stoccolma can light a corner, serve as a reading light beside a bed or illuminate a table. The structure removes the need for a separate power cable.
Stoccolma Flexible Lamp by Giulia Liverani was featured as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
