Marcaron House
Marcaron House is a residential interior design for an old apartment. The original layout had many partition walls, which limited both space and daylight. The partitions were removed and the living room and the bedroom were exchanged, creating an open multi-functional lounge. Light from the windows on both sides now enters the interior. Soft colors are painted on the walls and integrated with the cabinets to improve storage and color consistency. Classic tiles are used, and a double sink placed along the circulation route separates the restroom areas and saves space.
Marcaron House Interior Design by TSAI, YUAN-CHANG has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award.
