Poly The Sky Garden
Poly The Sky Garden is a modular and detachable sales center in Putian, Fujian, China. The building covers 300 square meters and is formed by six modular parts that are joined with special screws and customized waterproofing measures. Silver-white metal panels, ultra-white glass and terrazzo give the volume a light and reflective appearance above the water. A steel pile foundation system limits interference with the site. When the service period ends, the modules are detached, transported and reassembled at a new location for direct reuse.
Poly The Sky Garden Sales Center by Hyp-Arch Design has been recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Poly The Sky Garden Sales Center won the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
