Yongqing Fang Grand Theater Renovation

Yongqing Fang Grand Theater Renovation is an interior design for an exhibition and investment promotion center in Guangzhou. The theater is a landmark of Yongqing Fang on Enning Road, a renovated old street known for time-honored brands and tourism. The design contrasts old and new elements. Box-like volumes organize the irregular space of 334 square meters. The ground floor holds project exhibitions, while the upper floor is used for negotiation. Materials include wood veneer, white paint, black aluminium panels and grey tile. Frosted steel and glass doors link interior and street.

Yongqing Fang Grand Theater Renovation Exhibition by MAG studio has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yongqing Fang Grand Theater Renovation Exhibition earned the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
