Iconic Sx80
Iconic Sx80 is a hybrid superyacht that combines the qualities of an expedition vessel with those of a performance yacht. The vessel measures 80 meters in length and 15.60 meters in beam, and is built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The sweeping exterior curves are inspired by ocean waves, and 6 meters of glass along the hull connect the interior with the sea. Five operating modes are supported, from diesel and diesel-electric combinations to fully electric propulsion, which produces less noise. Recycled materials are used in the interior where possible.
Iconic Sx80 Hybrid Yacht Design by Rumeysa Aris was identified as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Iconic Sx80 Hybrid Yacht Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Yacht and Marine Vessels Design in 2020. The A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes outstanding design of sailboats, motor yachts, catamarans, trimarans, superyachts, explorer yachts, sportfishing yachts, luxury houseboats and more.
